My wife and I went here for brunch recently, and I found the product to be a lot better than the happy hour or dinner product. Pricing was reasonable, or at least in line with other offerings. The servers were helpful. The food and drinks were great. I had the avocado toast eggs Benedict with hashbrowns, and my wife had chicken and waffles. We enjoyed them thoroughly. I paired that with the Carajillo cocktail which was excellent. I'd say it's like a grown-up take on an espresso martini. My wife opted for the N/A "Coffee and Jam" beverage, which sits somewhere in the coffee Negroni space while also being completely different. I thought they did a good job of making an N/A cocktail still have depth and interest. Reservation wasn't needed to get a table at noon on a Sunday.

Food was great and our waiter, Alex, was fantastic! We ordered the bananas foster waffle, chilaquiles, thiccc bacon, and the BLB waffle. We will definitely be back!

Kitchen and Rail was a fantastic Saturday brunch spot. Located in Eagan, it was a little bit of a drive from Minneapolis, but I'll say it was well worth it. Our server, Bre, was impeccable. She was the right combination of friendly, talkative, and attentive; she kept us updated on our order frequently, which helped as there was a substantial wait. Three of us had the Chilaquiles. I'd say they were perfect, but someone should've warned me that they were spicy so I wouldn't have added hot sauce. My husband's Creole Benedict was flavorful. We all got Italian donuts to share as a dessert. These were crispy and delicious, accompanied by a berry compote and a decadently creamy cheese coffee-flavored frosting on the side. I would give Kitchen and Rail five stars if only they offered gluten-free alternatives. I recommend Kitchen and Rail for its excellent service, tasty food, and gorgeous atmosphere.

Food was great, service was also really good although a touch slow. Nice neighborhood feeling vibe - TVs with football on but mostly people were talking and enjoying themselves. Would go back! Wouldn't get the steak frites again, but everything else we ordered was AMAZING. The hot honey turkey chopped salad was one of the stars of the show. So good.

What a cute little spot in Eagan! I'm normally not in this area, but we needed to stop for a quick dinner before a birthday party nearby - I definitely recommend it. Service was very quick and we really enjoyed our server, she was real with us about portion sizes since we wanted to share a couple of things. We split the Meatballs & the Vin Rosa Pasta - all of it was delicious! My only note was they definitely just added the one meatball for $5 and split it on our portions, rather than splitting the whole meatball dish but we didn't mind too much. They even split it on two separate plates for us which was great. We paired this with the Broccolini which was so good - I still think about it and crave it! Overall, definitely want to come back here to try drinks & more.

The ambiance is 10/10. Very vibey space - perfect for happy hour with friends or an intimate dinner when the lights dim. The owner stopped by our table to check how everything was. He was very sweet, just as our waitress was. Best Aperol Spritz I've had and I wasn't even drinking it outside in Europe. The happy hour selection + prices were great

In town for a family event, we asked our son for a recommendation for an upscale contemporary bar & grill. His immediate response was Kitchen and Rail. Advanced reservations are required around happy hour, and we claimed ours. Drink specials, and since we were at the edge of H-Hour, we ordered both special items from that menu as well as the full menu. In the picture you'll see part of one of my orders... The portion of sautéed Frog legs is six, however these were so very delicious looking and the scent of garlic butter, flour dusted legs was to great to resist...so I didn't. Coming to my senses, I proclaimed "I M U S T get a photo before there's nothing to show!" Happy hour seating at just before 5pm was still available and we had Happy hour wings (3 HUGE) and sliders as dinner! A great experience! Food and beverages and a clean friendly atmosphere with pleasant and helpful servers! There is everything RIGHT about this experience.

Back for round two! I tried the burger of the month which was similar to a Big Mac. The fries are the "zesty" type of fries. The burger was delicious and was paired with Big Mac sauce. I appreciated the chunky pickles in the sauce. The slab of onion was grilled and made the sandwich. I am an onion lover so this was not too much for me, but may be for some. The fries weren't hot for my order or my friend's order, so we sent those back. They were replaced pretty quick - hot and fresh. We appreciated the attention to service. Enjoyed the flourless chocolate cake. It was light and fluffy. My chocoholic friend is a purist and doesn't like to mix fruit with chocolate, but she loved this as well!‍ This habanero chicken sandwich really isn't worth mentioning. A bit dry and absolutely no heat.
